At ILEKAT we pay special attention to the appropriate conditions of hygiene and safety for our personnel and well as third parties visiting our facilities. Because we believe the most important factor in the growth of a company is its human factor, every day we strength our anthropocentric character by adding to our list of favorable measures for the improvement of working conditions and the surrounding environment.
For all these reasons we adhere to all the applicable provisions laid out by the Greek and European legislature and we apply management system A & Y E according to requirements stipulated in the OHSAS 18001:2007 model, for the whole productive and commercial procedure in order to ensure a working environment free of accidents and harmful effects on health.
Within this system ILEKAT :
Offers continuous training to its personnel on Health and Safety issues aiming at improving technical knowledge and skills, as well as in the correct use of the allocated Personal Protective Equipment. Invests in the installation of current mechanisms with the goal to upgrade quality, eliminate labour accidents, prevent leakage, minimize floating particles, gas emissions, noise, increase luminosity, save electric energy and a work friendly environment for the workers in common areas.
At ILEKAT we strive to accomplish a safe working environment based on National laws, European Commission directives, International regulations and models as examples and with the support or our management and the contribution of our personnel including our continuous efforts for improvement . In doing so we are minimizing or eliminating and/or avoiding accidents or other incidents which could cause harm to human health and/or the environment. At ILEKAT our daily supervision in hygiene and safety and our continuous effort for improvement is the key to our success.
